Malcolm Guite has agreed to talk at our Annual Lecture on Saturday 29th October in Cambridge. He will be talking about his book 'David's Crown' and including some poetry readings from it. The venue is Little St Mary's Church, Trumpington Street, Cambridge, CB2 1QG.

Drawing on his recent poetry collection David’s Crown: Sounding the Psalms, Malcolm Guite explores the heights and depths of the psalter, tells how the psalms become a primary text for his during the Covid Pandemic, and gives some readings from and reflections on this new collection

To get to the church:
If you are driving it is best to use Cambridge's Park and Ride service from 5 sites around the city. Full details are here https://cambridgeparkandride.info/index.shtml. The best service to use is the Blue from Trumpington which passes the church, most of the others go to near the bus station which is a 10 minute walk to the church.

If you are coming by train it is a 25 minute walk from the Railway Station which is south east of the city centre. Bus route U operates every 15-30 minutes from stop 8 outside the Railway station to Trumpington Street directly outside LSM, the journey taking less than 10 minutes. Other buses run regularly between the station and the city centre and taxis are also available.
