CLIS AGM Sat. 18th April 2015 in Leicester

It was a very enjoyable and informative CLIS AGM on Saturday 18th April 2015 in Leicester. It was held in the YMCA Theatre. Diana Edmonds who Head of Libraries at GLL (a social enterprise company) spoke on Library Privatisation and Outsourcing. She said that if it was done well with the full support of the staff library footfall and issues increased dramatically.

Emmanuel Oladipo formally International Secretary of Scripture Union spoke on the Famine in the African Church: Books, Libraries and Information Services. He described African Christian publishing and the Africa Collective and Village Libraries which he helped to start.
